fragging hairy mushrooms

how do i do this, they are getting rather big. do i just cut them off from the base and try and attach it to another rock, how do i attach it.

superglue gel works well but you will need to remove the coral and rock to do this.
also, to frag one you need to cut through the mouth so cut it in half, thirds, quarters etc.

cutting from the base will probably not result in 2 surviving mushrooms, unless its a type of unknown rhodactis like i have, which you can just hack at with a knife and will turn into loads more - real pain in the bum as they are taking over my tank...
