Hi, Building Up Knowledge Etc For The Want Of Keeping A Bta In The Future...will Have To Upgrade My Lighting I Know,

My Tank Is Only 18" Deep.......will A 150w Halide Be Ok, Or Do I Need A 250w One.

Would Prefer To Use A 150w, Less Heat And Accesories Needed To Combat This From A 250 Bulb. Etc.

What Do U All Think... Thanks A Lot.

your tank should be running for at least 6- 12months before getting an anemone.try and obtain tank bred one as they are much hardier.make sure you have no powerhead intakes exposed as they are prone to wandering around the tank and will get sucked up into your pumps.they will also sting any corals you have in the the tank so think very carefully before aquiring one.derek

I have a 150w over mine with a Carpet and it's fine and growing well. Should be fine with that depth.
