Greetings to all great reefers!
It’s an honor for me to be part of this wonderful site n I would like to take this opportunity to share my setup n hopefully getting a lot of good needed advice on how to make this additive hobby to be a successful one. This nano was first setup since Feb. 06. I have it custom made from a local LFS. a little specs about it....

HnS skimmer insump type
2x seio pumps as wavemakers/aquabee2000 pump for the return
local made Fluid Reactor
local made Calcium Reactor wif rowalit c+ (as media.)

Beautiful tank / corals! I'd consider an upgrade or rehoming the YT as it grows, though.
i know just about everyone is gonna jump on the same band wagon ans say get rid of the tang. however in this case the tang is serving an important job of grazing algae from around corals, preventing drift alage from getting caught in branches, and basically getting into places where hermits/snails can't. now ive been in the same problem my sps tank was over run with algae before adding a tang, desptie copious grazers.
its a problem that all owners of nanos have to overcome, but there simply isn't a suitable fish that will act as a grazer. the various blennys don't feed on the right algae, crabs/snails often can't reach to the right spot. so just waht do you do?
the tank and SPS are stunning i have to say. i much prefer smaller set ups like this than some of the massive tanks
cheers
trev
Nice set up, Any chance of some more pics, sump etc and your routine on keeping such a nice set up healthy and looking great.
Thanks
Jay
I thinks thats the nicest sps nano ive seen, great job
thank you all for the nice comments:D appreciate alot!
tank is about 30gallon measured 24x12x18 10mm cheap glass(custom made to fit on my cabinet)
sump is a diy cheap tank(not really done well but it works just fine)
skimmer/FR(using rowaphos)/Chiller/CR etc etc...
250watt MH is self fix in my old mh casing n so do the T5s.
Technically most of my stuffs are bought cheap(2nd hand) http://www.absolutereef.com/forums/style_emoticons/AROL/blush.gif

hi trev, yes the yt is the primary grazer in the system n it has been wif me since day 1 when i started this tank.
99.9% are dominated by sps(frags/small colonies)im new in the sps things n i cant really name all the species(im suck at those) so i let these pics do the talking.. hope it doesnt flood this thread:o

Nice setup. Are you using the H&S 110-F2000? How are you finding it? do you get any microbubbles going back into your tank?

yep.thats the one. i would rated it good(very low power consumption/i needed that) as it served me well. no microbubbles gets in the main tank( as the buffer panels in the sump works like a charm..lucky me. ) thks for asking keith man :)
Very nice tank Spawns, something along the lines of which im planning at the moment
