I thought about that, if i was to cut them off...how would i stop infection setting in on the main toadstool????, or because it was a clean cut would it heal properly...well better than the damaged bit. If i was to cut it off it would be the equvalent of a 'petal' as there would be no stalk on it...would it still take?????, so many questoins not enough timr lmao.

Oh i bought lugol's solution..as i was told that iodine can help heal tissue is this right as well????...sorry for all the questions:o

I wouldnt worry too much matey, theyre almost indestructable. People frag them by just chopping them up. Im sure that if your water quality is spot on, it'll be ok

exactly how they spread in the wild - something knocks it or a rock falls on it, knocks a bit off and one coral becomes two... either chop the bits off or leave as is but I wouldn't worry.

Why do you dose with iodine?

You don't if you do not know what you are doing it for. JMO
