This is a new Forum in the Community area.

This forum is a repository of useful files and information created by our members which may be downloaded for personal use.

It currently contains several models for use in Sketchup when drawing or designing your tank setup.

I hope that this area will grow into a library of all things useful to download, including documents and spreadsheets. All ideas are welcome.

If you are about posting an image of your Sketchup design, then from within Sketchup, orientate your view as you would like it, select File - Export... - 2D image and save a .bmp file.

The image will probably be too big (UR has a 150,000 byte limit) so use a paint program to crop the image, and save as a .gif or .jpg file. Then use the Uploader as usual.

If you are talking about supplying a Sketchup model for the Download Library, then you will need to email the .skp file to me as detailed in the Download Library.

Good idea. A Post with links to the .pdf on the manufacturers website would be best if the manual is available there, as this would ensure it is up to date and avoid possible problems with copyright.

Do you have any links?

No, but I have the operation manual to my second hand Tunze 3115/2 Skimmer on a .pdf, which you can't find unless you e-mail Tunze. I'll e-mail it to you ;)

I'm pretty sure most of Tunze's stuff (especially the old stuff) is like this.

p.s fantastic idea BTW :D
