Hi All,

Had 3 pieces of rocks with yellow polyps on - and all are just slowly wasting away. ie not opening for a while and then just disolving to nowt.

Is there something i'm missing for these?

Other polyps and zoos are doing fine - xenia / cloves growing at a good rate, leathers / mushies look good.

Tried high/low flow and light... kinda stuck now for ideas

they like a medium flow and med/high lighting. these polyps often appear fine for about 5 months and then recede to a couple of polyps and regrow again..... thats why theyre sorta unpopular now ;)

The yellow ones require meaty feeding, use a turkey baster to gently blow some brine shrimp etc over them.....

Cheers Shelton.

I've heard target feeding with some meaty foods it best with these. Cylopeze should be good for them

100% feed feed feed, i started out with these had the same problem but now i feed and they multiply rapidly, turn pumps of sparya brine over them let it fall into there path and watch them grow, good flow and light helps as well but i think mainly food.

If any polyps open i will try it - 90% or more are just shut down in 2 days
