Hi reefworks,

After our long Q and A's telephone conversation, about rotifers and copepods for feeding baby seahorses, I went to the coral culture site to buy phyotplacton for feeding and got really confused. I think you said to buy the dead stuff for the copepods but cant remember what you told me to get for the rotifers. sorry was listening and taking notes, but just cant read my own writing.
I will order both these packs when I'm sure on the products for feeding them.

Please help, again.

Karen

No problem Karen.
You can buy Reed Rotifer diet which is dead and is very concentrated. Use this to grow your rotifers.
The Reed Phyto feast as a mix of phyto and 'live' and should be used to culture your copepods. Also use this to feed to all the live food just before giving them to your seahorses and also in the tank with the seahorses and live food together.
There is an article coming out in next months edition of ultra Marine covering live food culture and larval fish nutrtion (out 14th feb).
good luck
