Does anyone know why my Hair Mushroom doe not inflate as much as it used to?

I have had it for about six weeks now and it was doing great, It had doubled in size and was looking thick and very inflated. Then about two weeks ago it reduced its size and does not inflate to its fullest (that I have seen it).

I have done a water change as part of my regular routine, but its still not as big as it was.

I have a Nano Cube 24 with the JBJ 72 watts of compact T5 lighting, Water flow is not rapid and it is not getting blasted by a continuous current.

If anyone was experienced this or has any ideas, I would like your feed back.

I can do one of after but I havent got one of before.

I looks very much like yours, but now thr tenticle are not getting as swollen.

I was wondering if it might be a lack of Iodine or trace elements.

How big do these mushrooms actually grow? I have a few in the tank and the biggest on somedays stretches 7 - 8" across.

Well i have seen them 12" across.
Do you supplement any trace elements or any thing?

The only additive I add to my tank is 'Reef Success Calcium +3' which contains Calcium, Strontium, molybdenum & iodine. I have added Phytoplankton once a week for the past 2 or 3 months which has made them look better than ever.
