have you got any clean up crew in there?

Assuming we are not talking about macro algae....I would say let the clean up crew do the work...the bubble coral should be able to regrow over the surface as long as it is capable of recouperating. NB: Although you haven't said which bubble you have (some are easier than others to keep)...they all do not like too strong a light...so if you have it in a tank with halides, do not keep it directly below the halide and keep it at the bottom of the tank.

Best Regards

yeh got clean up crew, have moved the bubble coral down nearer the bottom as i had it placed about half way up under a 250w MH,sorry not sure which type it is,it has a pearly/green tinge to it if that helps, there are still a lot of polyp,s on it,only around the edges do they seem not to have reappeared, only the smallest of the snails seem to be able to get close to it.
