Just wondering what Parameters other reefers keep their tank at when using zeovit or prodibio?

I keep the KH at around 7.7 but may lower to around 7
The calcium I keep at 400
The magnesium is around 1200-1250

Im using RHF, 3 part dosing system which is basically the same as the FM balling light, really love this sytem, so easy to dial in whatever you want

I also find that running a lower KH makes the ph swing a little, since I installed the new nanostream im getting even more surface movement and the Ph swings from 8.1 at night to 8.45 during the day

Does anyone else expereince simular?

Hi Maestro

You too!:) I'v changed over to the Balling method also a couple of weeks ago, using the Ralf recepy of mol ballanced 4 part, dosed by GroTech peris. During the change over the DKH fell to 4.5! but the PH stayed steady at 8.1 at the low point. In my tank the PH doesnt go higher than 8.3.

I moved over for the the same reasons as you - to get more control over the individual params, but I'm still seeing small shifts from day to day in Ca and DKH - dont understand why as the they can be both up and down shifts with a steady dosing split over 24 times pd.

Yesterday the readinges were Sg 1.025, Ca420, DKH 5.8, Mg 1260 which I'm happy with.

Are you using NaCl free salt or relying on water changes for ionic ballance?
