Any interest?

More and more peeps put alot of effort into their vids and it takes alot more work to do a video than just take a pic. I realise the demand isn't as high, therfore we could go host a comp every 3 months?

Could be a good idea, I'm up for modding that.

One every three or two months may be a better idea.

Would people prefer an open competition where you post your own or a closed poll like SOTM is now?

Its a good idea but a simple video of a tank imo wont work, It would have to be a video of something more interesting.... Maybe a coral spawning , sps intaking food , copepods doing it, I guess a favourite will be goby's interacting
with shrimps and alike.

I think you underestimate the power and alure of badly dubbed skimmer porn. There's a lot of skimmer pervs out there. Just look at Tony B's average posts... :censored: :o :D I predict we will quickly descend into a world of "have you seen the bubbles on that" and "is that skimmate or are you just pleased to see me"... etc.
