Happy reefing
I wish I had more room in my tank :(

What do you mean? There is ALWAYS room for another frag, and if there isn't then you need a bigger tank!

Not in my tank it's full :( I will have to get rid of something.
Bigger tank now that's an idea ;) I am sure you will be getting an order at the end of the year.
Actually there's one thing I have been meaning to ask you. I bought a monti. capitata off you a while back. It arrived white with blue polyps, it's turned a bright lime green in my tank and is growing quite vigorously. Now I have read that green tends to be a stress colour in SPSs. But I don't think it is stressed due to the vigorous growth. It's been like this for 5-6 months now.
I quite like the colour, so it is not an issue. But I am just curious to hear what your thoughts are.

I love this coral! In fact it is one of my favourites but for some reason does not seem to be that popular, maybe it is the picture I have on the web.
This coral can grow under surprising low light conditions - and fast! Under lower light to moderate lighting I have found that a green colour develops, if you put it under very high light intensity (like directly under a 250w and high up) then the tuberculae (the bumps on it) become more prominant and develop into a creamy colour with a little green (like seen on the website), under lower lighting the green develops and the tuberculae are less prominant. The shape that your colony is developing is normal and I don't think the color is due to it being stressed.
Happy reefing

I also think it's a great coral, like I say the bright lime green is a fantastic colour! Took a while to start growing, but now it's really motoring.
Interesting what you say about the lighting. I have positioned high up under 250W 10K Reeflux. But I did have egg crate installed (to stop fish carpet surfing) over the tank, so the egg crate was obviously blocking the light.
I haven't added any fish for ages, so the likely hood of one jumping now is minimal. A couple of weeks ago I removed the egg crate and raised my lights. Over the next month I will be lowering my lights again.
It will be interesting to see how this coral develops.
