Well my tank has been running for 2 months now with the fauna marin zeolith system. I am getting some good colour on the growth tips, pink milli has gone really pink. However i have some older corals that were dark brown the tips have colour but the body is still very dark. Do you think i am using too much of the suppliments?? I am dosing 1ml of ultrabak and 1ml of MinS in a 330l system per day.

I also have some bubble algae on the rocks and a green film on the back wall. I have also noticed i get hardly any mulm forming on the zeo. Do people notice much themselves??

Cheers

Peter

Hi Peter
Missed this one last week due to being rather busy. How are the nitrates and stuff at this point? I would suggest gradually increasing the bak and min at this and note the effect. In some older aquariums with high levels of nutrient stored in rock and sand you can wait 6 months to get really going.

As you increase the dosing so you will see more bio films forming if you get too many white films then drop back the min and bak as you are over doing it.

hope that makes some sense.

But sound like you are going in the right direction.
