with a chisel (sounds brutal but it works)

Just make sure you feed it well for a few weeks before you frag as it speeds up the recovery rate.

yup got a frag in mine, big BIG chisel and a large mallet, don't forget toecapped boots, protective glases, leather gloves and of course a high visibility vest :)

(hmm just realised, my frag must have come un-puttied as i don't remember seeing it in the last few days, bet it's over the back :mad: )

This is a pic of one half of a suncoral that was fragged using a angle grinder fitted with a diamond tipped tile cutting blade, it slices through the rock as though it was butter.The last fleshy bit was then cut through with a razor blade.

oooo cool! i think i'm going to frag mine sometime after the 25th when i move my tank bk home! its quite a big piece with around 60 heads. so might cut it into about 4.

Thanks for the advice but my sun coral died on the trip down to bristol :S must of got to cold :(
