Very nice, Jiff - I emailed them a couple of times to get prices, but they never reply :(
Did you get it direct or from someone in the UK? Mind if ask the price?
Ian.
£152 with 3-5 day shipping and about £140ish with snail mail shipping.
I had horendous trouble with his e-mail but when i sent him a text he phoned me straight back, the contact number on the website is a mobile.
Got him to send me an invoice thru paypal and paid that way.
The only problem with the service was unsuprisingly the UK courier. They said they had tried to deliver on the 7th and no card was left leaving me to phone Ian get the shipping number and do the chasing myself.
Singpost are very good.
It's well made am just trying to fit it in my cabinet, hard when it's only two and a half foot and you have a sump, ca reactor, phos reactor and 1040 at the same time but it'll go.
If you want to pop in and have a look sometime feel free.

Cheers matey - I've just bought a Grotech one off someone on here actually, as I'd given up on I-Aquatics!
Think I'll have the same problem of where to locate it. Should be fun trying though!
thats a lot compared to the grotech thats only 179.99 rrp and has a feed pump as well {power heads may not have the head to work well}
Nice! Smooth in pumping too:)
You can take out the phos reactor wih this system.
Si.
Didn't want to take the phos reactor off line just yet as still have a bit of hair algea and cyno where the system is changing over but that is my plan....
Nearly got it installed but it has a slight leak where the pipe goes in at the bottom, no silicone on the inside so have had to halt progress and have siliconed it fingers crossed for tomorrow everyone!!!!!!
Didn't get the gro-tech as was told had to go in the sump, no room for that i'm afraid still got it now.
Any problems with running a bit more than the rec amount of zeolite???
when i did get to run it the 400lph pump i got for it pumps it fine

Er... why? I would have thought it was wiser to start with less than the recommended amount, and slowly increase - rather than jumping straight in with a bigger amount! What's your thinking?
i think he means with the pumping with to much media in it not starting with that much ;)

You can put more in if you take out the black grate from the inner cylender. However, if you want to put more in because your aiming for 1ltr /400ltrs net volume proportionately thats fine, but please dont be tempted to put more than the recomended amount in an established tank - as the guide is based on peoples experience of what causes shock to an established tank.
The only problem I found with this brand is if the zeolites get caught in the exit pipe at the top. This can cause water pressure to build and water leaks from the hole where the pumping handle is. So if you do take the black grate off, fix some kind of strainer to the inside of the exit hole - esp if you are running exteral.
Re the phosban - have faith:thumbsup: the zeolites and zeobac, zeofood7 and zeostart 2 will sort out your algae - for sure. The trouble with using zeovit and phosphate remover is you could strip the water of nutrients too fast resulting in shock and S/RTN.
Cheers
Simon
i have built up the zeo to the max rec amount over the last few weeks so i am up to the max limit as rec just wondered if a small amount extra would hurt. Only using a small amount as small system. dont need to take the grate off. The amount i have used is the rec amount just wondered that was all. Reactor looks a bit empty. Think i might take the phos reactor off line tomorrow and see what happens.
