My largest toadstool has stopped 'coming out'. Over the last 5 days I have not seen any heads unlike it's smaller counterpart. I have been having an algae problem that has virtuaaly been resolved but I have had to clean algae off the head of the toadstool.
Will it now come back out to feed or may there be another problem?

Many Thanks
Steven

Hi Steven,

No need to worry just yet, it may just be sulking. Leave the toadstool in peace, make sure it has moderate flow around it, don't touch the toadstool.

I would lay down good money, that it will come back to its full glory soon.;)

Thanks for the reply, I was hoping this would be the case but I suppose we all need a bit of reassurance.

Cheers again

I've had a toadstall that hasn't come out for about 6 months! It has stayed solid during that time and actually looks really healthy apart from the fact that it doesn't extend. I have had one in the past that has gone mushy and rotten but this one certainly hasn't!

I know that they do sulk from time to time but I've never known it like this. So don't worry if it doesn't come out for a little while

I came home from work and there were a couple of 'heads' coming out.
Hopefully it is starting to perk up again.

Thanks everyone.
