baby hammer?

I was lucky enough to get a piece of hammer coral from suksreef last year and it has grown well (trebling the number of heads) and now it has what can only be described as a baby hanging from one of the heads. It is literally hanging by a thread.
Should i wait till it falls off and risk it dropping into the rockwork or should i snip it off and glue it somewhere for it to grow on?

just leave it and it will grow - i had a couple of the same things on my torches (rip) some fell off never to be seen some grew into new heads.
