I have been dosing the FM products, Bio, Min-S, Bak etc directly to my tank? Is this correct or should I be adding to the reactor some or all of these products (I do not mean the whole bottle either).

When you say "the reactor" - what are you referring to? A zeo reactor?

Yeah! I have the GroTech reactor and just wondered, sinced I add all of the above on a daily basis as per the destructions, should I actually be adding anything to the reactor to get it to work more quickly. I have just put it on a 3 on 3 off timer basis to get it to kick in a bit more having taken advice from Jez et al.

You have UltraLith in the reactor, right?

I think the UltraBio instructions say to add this directly to the reactor in the first week, and then a week later - to really get things going. But then you should be fine to add the products directly to the tank, diluted in a cupful of tank water.

Yeah! UltraLith in the reactor. I guess I just needed to know if adding the Bio to the reactor was a good thing and the Bak? Just thought it might help a bit to get things going.

Not that I am wanting to rush this. Defo not! Guess I am just a bit impatient and haven't really seen any results of any significance yet. I think I shall just have to view my aquarium a bit longer and just damn wait a bit!

Can I just add, should I consider upgrading my skimmer shortly. I have a TMC V2 600 skimmer on an approx 100 UK gallon system. Issue is, since i installed this skimmer, I have had to dose iodine daily as it is such a good skimmer and I know size matters when it comes to skimming? What should i do?

Thanks again in advance.
