white stuff over zoo's

i have some white stuff that seem to be covering my zoo's, either that or the zoo's are turning white. if i touch this stuff it just seems to break up.

all zoo's have been closed for a few days on this rock only.

i may try and cut all the zoo's from this rock to see if i can save them but just wondering if any body has experienced the same.

i only got them recently from a sponsor and am not best pleased. probably nothing to do with them but they cost me a fortune.

no really john, this is just a mass of white stuff covering the polyps.

sounds like a fungus to me? fragging might save some?

yes i believe your right. tried to frag it earlier and when i cut away some of the polyps they were rotting from underneath. may have saved a few but time will tell. the smell was horrible and the black stuff covered my fingers.

dome of the polyps just fell of without any help at all. i have fragged a few zoa's and none were like this.

didnt put the rock they came on back into my tank as it was rancid.
