How long on interval mode?

How long do I put my reactor on interval mode for? It is currently on 3 on 3 off and just wondered how long it was required before the reactor is on permanent?

Hi Chris,

the interval mode is to reduce nitrates down when the drop begins to plateau (sp??) once they have dropped to your required level then the reactor can go back on full mode.

An interesting side note we found that when in cycle mode we would have to clean the glass more than when in full mode????

We are starting to see some nice colours come up on our sps, we will dig up the before and afters and post them to show some of the differences.

I have not seen much of a fall in nitrates yet but they are only at 12ppm anyway but polyp extension is defo noticeable. I do not think I have sen such furry corals!

Cant wait for the second chapter! Hopefully nitrates may start to fall.

Have put on permanent anyway as when off, the Ultralith is slightly exposed as water level drops so will have to wait a bit longer for things to progress.
