WARNING: Aquatronica Update didn't work for me

Following RobbyG post I decided to upgrade my Aquatronica tonight.

The released updated the firmware on the controller and proceeded to update the firmware on the ethernet module.

An error message came up "Error 10: cannot access ethernet module".

I then exited the pc program disconnected and reconnected the ethernet module.

The AQ didn't pick it up.

I then went to the AQ and disconnected the ethernet module.

Disconnected and reconnected the ethernet module

still nothing.

Reset the unit (by taking the plug out of the back)

still nothing

Disconnected and reconnected the ethernet module

still nothing

I have lost my ethernet module :(

This may or may not be connected with the upgrade, but the ethernet module was working fine before the upgrade.

Dave I dont think your ethernet is getting power. Is the little red light ON?
If you have a volt meter check if the adapter is putting out the 12 volts DC.
I suspect your Ethernet is not dead it just has no power.

Yep you are right! there are no lights on the ethernet module.

I have tested the adapter cable and it's putting out power.

I am confused because the ethernet module was working immediately prior to the update. After what has been said I purposely checked that this was the case. The module definitely died during the update.

Well that sound pretty conclusive, I guess it's time to contact Wavey or who ever sold you the unit and ask them how to proceed.
