5.6 Update

Ok I am trying to update to the newest version by going to file and then internet and it goes and looks as says I have the most up to date ver. and then I connect to the controller and update and it says that I have the most up to date also. How the heck can I get this?? It is killing me.

Run PC software, connect to controller.
Go to Help then System Information.
What versions do you see under the contoller firmware?
If it's 3.11 then your updated already

Is the PC / laptop connected to the Tronica?

No it is not connected. I went to aquatronica and followed the instructions in there manual there. Is there a way you can download this manually?? It is not even putting the file in my installation directory.

Go into the following folder
C:\Program Files\Aquatronica\Aquarium Controller\Firmware

Make sure you see a file called UpdateController#003011_L00.dll
If its outside the Firmware folder copy it into the Firmware folder then rerun the software.

Only have the 3000 dll. The 3011 is not anywhere. I may try to install this on another pc. But they should definitely have an area that you could download and install this manually.

Look in the C:\Program Files\Aquatronica\Aquarium Controller\Downloaded installations
Do you see this file.
Aquatronica Aquarium Controller (5.6.0).msi

If you don't then you have not downloaded the update yet.

If you do see it, Right click the file and press INSTALL
that will manualy install it.

Nope don;t see it. I even went and installed it on another box and same problem.

I am going to File, then Internet, and it checks for the newer version and says you have the newest ver. It is looking on www.aquatronica.com and www.aquatronica.com/ and never finds it.

Is this right??

I have the file hosted now, but will only give the link via pm if I am assured you are an aquatronica user.

There may be a reason why AQ have removed the file, so you download it at your own risk!

I think they want to integrate the New dll into it. If you follow the reset procedure I posted it should work ok without the upgraded dll.
