Just received the following email from Aquatronica:

ETHERNET MODULE UPDATE
Aquatronica regrets to inform its customers that the Ethernet module update has been temporarily blocked due to technical difficulties: all customers will be advised the moment the update is available using the usual communication channels.
The PC software and Controller firmware are still available.
We apologize for this inconvenience.

Best regards
Aquatronica

Any more info on what the issues are?? I cannot even get to my controller yet I can ping the IP. It is weird. I have to unplug from the power bar and then plug back in and it works for a couple hours and goes down again.

No, I don't think so. That was simply getting the Ethernet Module communicating with the Aquatronica again, after the update. They've now removed the Ethernet Module update from their server for an undisclosed reason. I'm very curious! The upgrade did not solve the problem I've had with the Ethernet Module since buying it in December - I do wonder what is going on, as this release still didn't fix the problem, even though they claimed it had.

Don't think so, it was sent to me yesterday afternoon.

By sound of it by fixing bugs unknown to them they have introduce other bugs. This happens quite a lot in software development.

After all Microsoft do it all time and look at the resources they have.

This is the first time they have ever updated the Ethernet so I am not surprised they ran into a few hitches. I heard that the Ethernet dll that they sent out seperately on Monday, was getting corrupted by the MSI packaging software used to create the Big Installation file. Evidently efforts to get it integrated on Tuesday also failed.
