Thinking of going the whole hog and using the balling method, I don't have a fancy aquatronica computer. Whats the best method of running this system without a computer.

grotech TEC-III NG - triple channel dosing pump/system. Very easy to program - once you know ur daily up take, its set and forget

Both Simon (trythechi) and I are using this pump with the balling method

There is a very good thread on Reefpark re:balling method that is worth reading

ITC are the UK distributors (and now a sponsor!)

Any of the sponsors on here who deal with ITC i.e. STM, CGA, Heritage, Reef Encounters etc will be able to get you the Grotech unit.

As Jobr says STM, CGA and those of us that deal with ITC, :

http://www.reef-encounters.net/70160/info.php?p=2&pno=0&pid=863464&cat=31271&ack=9&search=grotech&sought=

Gives you a bit of info on it, a very well made precise unit.

Hi Jobr,

thats just the doser, we do another package with the additives chucked in at a discount.

The rack or "depot rack" as they call it in germany is sold as part of the grotech full package which is quite exy, I will speak to Ian and see if they can get just the racks on their own from Thomas @ Grotech

I find there is some settling with the KH support solution, but dont agitate it. The KH solution has the lowest cieling in gms per ltr at 20 degress celcius before the chemical precipites out of solution, so its good to be aware of that limit an mix accordingly,

Cheers
