Hi all, managed to convice the wife that i really need one of these:whistling: firstly i cant seem to calibrate the ph probe, i have read other posts about leaving the probe in the tank for a few days 1st & letting it sit in the test ph solution for 30 mins before starting calibration but it keeps coming up with impossible calibration, in the ph10 solution it reads 6.97 & in the ph 7 it reads 5.39 any ideas or do i need a new probe??

also i was going to buy the pc link software, the software version on my aquatronica is 1.1 can i do a straight update to the latest version or have i got to update it stages ?

thanks in advance.....

Don't wan't to be negative but In my experiences with Aquatronica if there's one item that's going to fail, it's going to be their pH probes. (i'm careful and i'm had four failures).

Hope you get yours to calibrate, there's loads of info on them via a search on here.

Hey there

No expert on aquatronica but is seems a new probe is required, no PH probe lasts forever that I know of, sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear.

Re update, I did just that - one update from 1.1 to latest.

All probes must be kept wet at all times, sounds like its been allowed to dry out, good news is a replacement no-name one should be less than £20...

Cheers, Shelton.
