Thought I would post some pics of my sump progress for anyone who might be interested in the process of drilling holes? :) Sorry to the people who know how to do this - but I thought it might help someone.

Drilling holes to allow fitting of Tank Connectors:

Hole Drilled:

After another hole drilled, the tank connectors fitted:

Now all I am waiting for is the sealant to dry, then I can wash the sump out and get to plumbing the fittings etc :)

Do you use Kennedys as your LFS

I think I was just pulling away as you came back if the blue car was you?

Blue Scenic would have been us, been over to Rushden Aquatics, picked up a fan worm and a cleaner shrimp.

Shrimp spent the rest of the day trying out spots in the tank to end up hanging off the same powerhead that the pair of clownfish have hosted on!

Got up yesterday to find what looked like a dead cleaner shrimp (but more moult than shrimp) and no shrimp to be seen. However, I got the torch out last night and saw fleeting glimpses of a shrimp, now I haven't seen any of my peps recently so I think it was the cleaner but the jury is still out! It may have moulted the first night it was in, depends if it was ready or not, or I may have killed it. got to work on aclimitisation technique I think.

Alan.

ps: yes, found the envelope. Thank you sir.
