View Full Version : Doser mounting?
Thinking of getting the doser for my AT, just wondering since it comes with no mounting of any type does it have to be mounted flat, or can it be mounted top to tail with the heads pointing up if you see what I mean? :o
Bit concerned to read people have bought these to find they are DOA?? what probs did you have?
Cheers, Shelton.
have you seen this thread

others have asked about the mounting issues
I had a problem with the unit being DOA, but it was sorted very quickly. It was returned to ITC directly who turned it around and has worked well ever since.

Yeah I read that thread thanks, nobody says whether the unit can be mounted vertically or just horizontally?
Just a bit concerned to cough up over £200 to find it doesn't work out of the box :o Have had plugbars changed in the past, so know there's no probs from that side of things....
Cheers, Shelton.

I wouldn't worry too much - it's a good unit and the customer support is so good that even if you do have a problem it won't be long b4 it's sorted. I just knocked a mounting unit out of three bits of wood. Unit is cable tied to the upper horzontal bit, then vertical bit goes down to another horizontal bit on which bottles stand. If that makes sense!
the heads comeoff and can be put back in 4 different angles so should be easy to install anywhere

Ah nice one! Bit limited for room in the sump area & if they are a bit noisy like some people have said then I wanted it inside the cabinet rather than out
Cheers, Shelton.
