as long as you keep your water parameters within those needed by hard corals , they're not hard to keep. I've never directly fed mine and its doing well. My clown hosts it.

remember and keep a good bit of space between it and other corals, its quite an aggressive coral

only one thing if your looking to keep it in your nano tank i am not sure the light will be strong enough? :)

they dont like lots of direct flow but need some movement, rember at night it extends, be careful what you put next to it.

FWIW, clowns seem to have a mind of their own when it comes to choosing something to host. Ours are now over a year old, and still haven't picked a home for themselves; although we've no nem, we do have a number of other corals that they reportedly host in people's tanks, but they still prefer their corner by the powerhead!

if it's to go in the 24 gallon nano then i think you'd be making a big mistake.
once they grow a little their reach is unbelievable......something my alveopora found out over two feet away from mine.
nice coral but evil defence.

NOT hard to keep? do they need feeding directly, I feed my phyto and marine mix in the tank, no direct feeding and my clown dosent touch mine. It grows quickly and mine is in a 350L tank. extends a lot. Watch your space __________________
