pH cal

Hi just calibrated my pH probe, pH10 solution / read value 11.00
pH7 solution / read value 8.20
are these readings fairly average, they took more than 5 mins to settle.

Until you have calibrated, the controller/probe has no idea what it is in. Therefore you will not get anything like acurate readings untill after calibration. When you press the enter button, you have then told the controller what pH10 or 7 or whatever 'is'.
