I no alot about fish heath what to look for etc etc, but im not to clued up about coral diseases are they just as common are they easily solved etc etc again :p the reason i ask is i have a fungia who was doing very well about a year ago untill i decided to blast around my tank with a spare powerhead to get detritus out since then he hasn't done to well, anyway i still have him, he still eats and inflates well, but he is loosing bits of his tissue in places i need to know how to help him. can anyone help.
cheers chris
Is it a long tentacled or a short tentacled. If it's long then it will probably die anyway. They are very much like goniporas in that they are usually short lived in home aquariums.Any Tissue damage is usually enough to kill a fungia.
Sorry if this doesnt help answer your question but theres not really that much you can do to help it.
