What form of water purification do you use?
:thanks:
Luke
Just RO ATM but I keep meaning to buy a DI unit.
Jeff.
Might be worth modifying the poll to include RO and DI together as a lot of people have this combination.
yes, i agree
as also use RO MAN with 2 x DI pods
R
I have added an RO + DI option, as I suspect that this is the most commonly used :)
"Interesting" bug in the software though - currently totalling 125%
Hmmm
John
How can I change my vote from RO to RO+DI ?

I put an option in the poll allowing voters to make mulitple choices.
For those with RO+DI just vote both.
Thanks anyway.
yes but if you have already voted for RO
how can you vote again ?

Just forget it. I'll put another poll in with an RO+DI option.
have a DI on the mains supply, and then water for the aquarium goes through a 3stage RO MAN.

got to be RO with a DI :thanks:
I would be interested to hear from the people that don't use R/O how their tanks are - not to flame just would be good to hear from another perspective.

Mines ok on tap - note the location tho' - this is NOT a heavily populated country. My only hassle is tannin levels that go up and down, and need to be pulled out with carbon. I'm not saying I'd recommend this tho'.
RO machines are not big sellers in most of Norway.

Sounds rather lucky for you if your tap water is that clean!! do you test for phosphates and nitrates at all?

P is consistently zero, and nitrate zero in my new house, though it did go up to 5 or 10 in my old one. I've never tested for silicate or DOC's , both of which would be interesting. If I felt I needed an RO I guess I'd get one - like I say I'm not telling everyone to throw theirs away, and appreciate this is very lucky.
It was more handy when I was into S American fresh as it's barely chlorinated as well, so water changes tended to involve nothing more than a tap and hosepipe.
Oops i ticked the ro and it should have been ro + di.
Sorry !
I use ro and di bought from ro man(bloody good company)
I use RO+DI with and inline TDS meter, 360ish and 0 out:thumbsup:
