Yours is what we call a boulder montipora

The colour in yours is stunning m8

Sigster whats the comparison setups on the comparison pics?

Hi Tim the first camera is a canon eos400 dslr the second is a FujiFinePix s9600
We both struggled to pick up the acuteness of the purple on the montiporas
They always almost come out bluer than they are to the naked eye.
Unyet most other purple sps come out purple, Lindsays reckons it's down to the thinner zooanthellae but thats just a hunch

What coral are you referring to?

If it's your Montipora's, then it will depend on your tank conditions, ie parameters, flow etc.

Mine took about a day. Parameters are spot on and flow isn't strong where the Montipora's are located.

Like I said Liquid, it depends on your water parameters, flow and where you positioned them. Give them time.
