If you turn the power off for a few hours and then switch back on it may come back. I know someone who did that and it worked fine
it does have a built in battery, this could take up to 24 hours to discharge
then try reconnecting it, other than that, contact the LFS you purchased it from
i take it its still within its warranty period

hi the unit is just over a year old ,shall i switch it to the manual switch as i have my lights on timer on it ,will they still work ,does it mean when the unit goes blank nothing works on the timers also what do you mean turn the power off ,do you mean the hole unit as i will have to set up something else for the plugs cheers chris
unsure that the manual mode will work with the timers, doubt it
you need to disconnect the lead to the display and let it discharge
then, once it has, reconnect it with only the plugbar tomorow, when its discharged
no other equipment, and then get it running and add evrything else back on

im pretty sure the timers dont work on manual mode
it just acts as a glorified extension lead..

if its on auto mode will the timers work thanks for yor help abyss many thanks chris
Timed events will work fine without the screen.
Mine packed in after the warranty had expired and they still exchanged it for a new one FOC
Yes timers are all independant of the controller. In regards to the timers the controllers only function is as an interface to set the timer.
As for the controller working fine after a Lockup. I have yet to see that. What happens is that if you discharge the battery it may work for a few days or hours before locking again. Don't use the controller it cannot be trusted and will lock up at some point again. It may lockup with your RO solenoid running or your heater or chiller turned on. If it does that those devices will wipe out your tank. Heed the warning and don't depend on the controller, just get it replaced ASAP.
Bearindrag, have you got this sorted? Mine locked up the other day, turned it off then on once it had discharged and all was well for a few days then its locked up again and now wont come back on.
I have contacted Aquatronica who have informed me the controller needs replacing and that they would do this if it was still under warranty....... which it isnt.... Not really sure what to do know, so wondered how you got on with it?
Cheers

Mark did you contact the UK or Italy?
where are you based mark ?
Mark did you contact the UK or Italy?
Call one of the numbers on the ITC website in the UK, I am guessing Italy may have told you something that is inaccurate.
Will give one of the numbers a ring.
Cheers, i am in Sheffield.

I emailed from the aquatronica website, service@aquatronica.com i am thinking this may have been Italy. Today i rung the number given 00390522946631 but got through to an italian only speaking woman.
Looks like i will have to try one of the 2 mobile numbers tomorrow.
