Just got my first Sea pen he is lovely pics will come soon ive popped him in a little plastic container for the time being with about 3 inches of fine sand untill i get my sand level up, its always open blowing about in the current had it for about 2/3 weeks now and all is well.
Question is has anyone else had these and what did they feed it it gets liquid food of minced up fish and bits.
No offence chap but you would be better asking all these questions before you buy livestock.
The majority of Sea Pens slowly starve to death in the aquarium. They need regular (at least daily) feeding with plankton. Link (http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/oct2003/invert.htm) to article. Get reading!

They won't appreciate your high nitrates either reef keeper, you will need to get them down asap.
no offence but as Jobr says it would be better to ask questions first mate, also buying livestock while you have high nitrates is'nt the best idea
