I dose kalk overnight, of course some days slightly more topup is required than others, so I was wondering since the program that runs the kalk addition is basically a timer program if I buy another level sensor & stick that at the high mark in my sump could I program that to override (switch off) the kalk dosing pump if the level switch is activated before the kalk timer program has completed?

Hope that makes sense? :o:o

Cheers, Shelton.

Use the X and Y function, page 31 of the online manual gives the low down.

Easier way,

Have a program on the level control to turn the socket off when the level is high, no program on the low level.

Then program the timer to turn on the socket when you want it on as normal.

The level program overrides the timer program so if the level goes high while the timer is on the socket will turn off anyway. If the timer is off then there isn't any program on the socket so it'll be off

This is a very good thread on the subject and explores the level sensor/timer interaction really well, and is for just what you want: http://www.ultimatereef.net/forums/showthread.php?t=190199
