.................................................. .....................

We are very proud to our new product

SPS-Aminoacid Special-Mix

Fauna Marin enters a new era in the provision of SPS-corals with essential amino-acids and amino-acid precursors. The unique composition of Ultra Amin is in line with the special requirements of intensively colored Acropora and Pocillopora corals to drastically enhance both coral colouration and polyp extension. Long-lasting experiments finally allowed for the finding of the unique mixture of amino-acids and amino-acid derivates in Ultra Amin which is immediately taken-up and processed by the SPS-corals on the one hand, but do not work in darkening the coral tissue on the other hand. This mixture can’t be copied. Convince yourself of the drastical boost in SPS-coral colours!

HI

Yes you can run it 24/7 but also periodical or with less
turnarounds
So you can control very easy byself how much you want to dose
The Pump is in heavy industrie quality with an Santoprene Hose
and can transport food muscus. You donīt need valves cause this pumps
close the hose at every position.

I have a question with regards the dosing pump. Currently, for the dendronephtia in my tank, I mix UltraMin F, S, UltaLife, UltraPAc, Ultra Organic, UltraClam, UltraBio, UltraBak, sometimes cyclopeze altogether in a little tank water and pour it in the main tank every night. If I leave this solution for sometime before pouring in the tank, you get mucous being formed (is this because of UltraPac?). Can I prepare a bottle of this mixture and dose it into the tank with your pump? Will the dosing pump handle the mucous and the particles of UltaClam and UltraMin F? If it can handle the mixture, can you place the end of the tube in the main tank (approx. 6ft high from the pump) or can you feed the mixture into the sump and let the return pump take it into the main tank.
Also, will the mixture stay soluble enough or will the mucous prevent it from going through the pipes of the dosing pump?

Zahira,

This is exactly what the ultradoser was designed for. It uses industrial motors and thick stanoprene tubing so that it has the pressure required to dose the foods.

The mucus you get forming when you leave the mixture to stand is because of the bacteria feeding off the ultrapac. This is a very good food source for the corals.

It is fine to make enough food for a week and dose that into the tank. Small amounts dosed reguarly will be better for your corals and filtration. You only have to deal with the smell from the mix!

I use a mixture of ultraminF, ultraseafan and ultraminS to feed non-photo gorgs. I make about a weeks worth of food each time. I keep the mixture covered to minimise evapouration as it can sometimes dry out. When I get my mits on one of these dosers I will be using it to dose this mix thoughout the day.

btw, they won't be cheap but they are very high quality variable dosers which inc. built in timers.

Like Keith having seen the doser today and had a demo off of Claude it is of very, very high quality.

But the downside is it is very expensive, but worth it if you want the reliability and long life.

Jobr,

UK prices have not been confirmed yet. You'll have to wait until ITC release them. They're not going to be cheap but they also cost a lot to produce!

Would you use the doser and feed the mixture into the sump and let the reurn pump take the food into the main tank or would you run a tube up into the main tank from the doser - approx 6 feet high?

Zahira straight in to the tank would be better.

I will be dosing into my return pump - if dosing into your tank I suggest you do it near a pump in take
