INFORMATION INTENDED FOR ALL AQUATRONICA CUSTOMERS
UPDATES FOR THE AQUARIUM CONTROLLER SYSTEM
1) ACQ001-xxx
All controllers that have been sold, or are still in stock, should be updated to the latest FW version available (4.0). The update is available online and can be downloaded by using our PC software, or by downloading directly from our website.
Every new update is another step towards perfecting the Aquatronica System since these updates often include patches for minor bugs that have been reported by our customers or that have been discovered in our testing facilities.
The following are the most important bugs that have been repaired.
Improved control of the backup battery recharge and discharge: This modification will help to improve battery life and the durability of the Power Cut function.
Controller lock-up after power outage: in some cases, the controller freezes and no longer accepts commands after a power outage. Firmware version 4.0 should eliminate this defect. If a customer should find that his/her controller has froze after a power outage, we recommend following this procedure:
Leave the controller disconnected from the system for a period of 24 hours. Afterwards, connect the controller to the system.
Update to the latest available FW version.
Possibility of cancelling an incorrect sensor calibration: This new option will reset the interface to its default calibration values in the event that the calibration procedure was performed in an incorrect fashion.
New measuring units for the Density sensor.
2) ACQ225
We recommend updating the Ethernet Module’s Firmware to version 2.0. Version 2.0 repairs several minor bugs that have been reported by our customers and by our testing facilities.
