I am about to purchase my M8's Aquatronica, could you tell me what cable i require to connect to my computer to download the latest update?

Hi Paul,

You'll need the PC Interface module (ACQ220) or the USB Interface (ACQ222) to connect the Aquatronica to your PC.

Hi Paul - sorry I missed your previous post.

The original PC Interface (AQQ220) is for computers with a serial port. The PC Interface USB Adaptor (ACQ221) is for converting this to work with a computer that has a USB port. In practise, you can actually buy any "serial to USB" adaptor and it will work - I have a Belkin one that came from PC World.

However, Aquatronica are just about to release the USB PC Interface (ACQ222) which will take the place of both the above items. See here: http://www.aquatronica.com/products-1/interfaces/acq222

It does say "coming soon" though - I thought it was already available. My bad! :o

Yup - that looks like it Paul. Don't think I paid that for it though, but it was a few years back. Looking at the price, the Aquatronica one doesn't look bad value actually!
