I think I might become a postie, because if they continue with this it will put a lot of small companies out of business! Mind you, I will wait till they accept the new hours, sod getting up at 4.30am. Soon they will have to start work at sensible hours and work till they are 65 like the rest of us...:laugh:

I can understand the posties frustration regarding the retrospective removal of their pension scheme for existing members, very few private companies have attampted that, most private companies have just closed defined benefit pension schemes to new members/employees.

It sounds like that is what they have now agreed to do. Lets hope they accept the deal on the table and things can get back to normal.
