Another Sun Coral question!

Where is the best place to put these fellas??

ive heard in the shade, some say doesnt matter as long as its in feedable range.

ive got T8s, so would it be best with some light?

see the sticky at the top of this section for all you'll ever need to know about Tubeastrea (sun corals).

But in short put it where it will be easy for you to get at to feed. They don't need light as they are not photo-synthetic, but equally light will not do them any harm (unless you have masses of algae which could overgrow them.
IMO they also like a fair amount of flow to keep detritus etc. from settling between the cups and causing possible problems.
