Now this months tank is truly an Ultimate Reef. It's been running since 2002 and with fantastic husbandry techniques and a dedication like no other this tank continues to look absolutely awesome.
I'm sure it'll come as no surprise to learn that this is the second time this tank has been awarded the UltimateReef TOTM honour. What else can be said other than congratulations Suk - you've created a master piece that just gets better and better and better! An inspiration to us all and I'm sure I'm not the only envious person here!!

Beautifully clean tank with superb corals :worship:
And I believe lit for the past couple of months with cheap Ebay lamps - food for thought?
this tank has always been one of my favourites. always looks so clean and healthy.
something for everyone to aspire to.
good work Suk :)
Nice one Suk
I've seen this tank in person and it is superb, very well kept indeed.
Quick question though: I thought you were using ebay bulbs in your halides and not BLV? :) Did the ebay bulbs start to give you trouble? :)

When I asked Suk about the BLV's on another forum, he replied that the specs regarding him using them need updating and he now has the Ebay lamps in. (unless he's changed back again)
Excellent Suk - well deserved!
Fantastic tank, well deserved TOTM:worship:

Great tank well done suk
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments.
It's been hard work for the last five years & the tank has been through some small changes but overall I'm pleased with the progress. I'm just getting over my second Monti-munching nudi outbreak.... the first one was a few years ago & resulted in me ripping out all my Monti's & starting again... This time it hasn't been so severe, luckily.
The lamps on this tank & my frag system are ebay lamps & still going strong after 3 months. The colour of the Purple Monti frags under the 150 watters is amazing...
:D
 looking good as usual, suk.well deserved:worship:

Excellent, a real credit to you:) :) well deserved;)
Suk, as always a stunning tank, pictures just do not do it justice!!!
will hopefully see you soon! :)
 fantastic looking tank, any thing effected by the high nitrate?
Can't say I've noticed anything major yet. Nitrates are over 40ppm but growth has been good over the last few weeks. I haven't had my hands in the tank as much as I've been busy re-fitting the kitchen... water-change is overdue.
My Powder Blue has a bit more white-spot then usual & the only coral that isn't as well extended is a large Sarco, maybe due to high nitrates?
Cheers

What an amazing tank!! :worship:

Suk,
Looking awesome as usual. Well Done!!!!!!!

Looking good as usual Suk. I reckon you're right about your Sarco, I get all sorts of odd things going on in mine if I let the Nitrates creep up - so I've stuck a denitrator on there now and they're dropping fast.

Saturday, I have seen the tank in person and the real thing beats the pictures for sure:)
As soon as I sort my own pictures out, I will post some.
Cheers,
Ron.
hi could you give me some advice as your tanks looking so good ive a 75 gallon aquarium with sump im doing the berlin system ands been running for about two months but my nitrite is still showing 1ppm do you have advice on how i can get the nitrite down i have 3 fish thanks any help would be great :thanks:
Thanks guys,
Nick - What de-nitrater did you go for, is it easy to set-up/maintain?
Ron - Great to meet you & look forward to seeing the pics.
Redsea - Pm sent
:D
I've stuck a Deltec 616 on it. It's run with my IKS redox control function. They're an odd piece of kit - it works great, Nitrates have absolutely plummeted and it uses sod all in the way of vodka - it does tend to drift every once in a while and you need to adjust the flow again through it but even if drops down below -170 mv it still works OK. I wouldn't fancy a unit like this without a controller though!
It is certainly a inspiration to all of us.Congratulations Sukdev singh.
Suk, you are a credit to the reefing community:) , as always an excellent example of what great husbandry can achieve.
going from strength to strength:dance:
congrats.
