Hi :-)

The new Ultra Zeomatic

Ultra Zeomatic the first and only automatical Zeolith Reactor

The Zeolith will cleaned by a new idea twice a day
You can choose your personal cleaning time and how often the reactor cleaned self

The plunge is still available so you can clean by hand also.

The Reaktor is working under pressure and can use also as an external filter and
has newest a flow control for exact flow depending on the ammount of Zeolith.

It doesn't look too different from any other reactor on the market to day, but the simplicity of the idea behind of how the cleaning works is genius! To date, AFAIK, no one has come up with anything close.

The self cleaning function works fantastically, but I still recommending doing a manual plunge every now and then. Say once week or once every 2 weeks, just to dislodge any stubborn build ups.

All in all, a fantastic product!

HI

Before we sell products we make longer tests with different peoples in different countrys
In germany i did not make a lo of tests cause there the most people know me and i did not get honest feedbacks

I need this feedbacks to see what the people want and think and
what are the different in the coutrys

We have a gruop of testes which are friends , Students from Universitys, Company which works in Aquculture and normal hobbiest

Also here in Ultimate Reef some reefers get products for testing

For me is important that i get an long an good feedback with pictures and absolut honest details about the work of the product

We test a lot of byself but nobody will see their own faults so it is
very important to get this feedbacks to make the products better.

A User here send me his thinking about the Kalium test
We will see whats possible to make the next batch better
without make the costst higher

Many greetings claude :-)

Read the first thread by Claude which was dated the 26/12/07, it stated at the bottom pictures and prices in a few days.

That’s why we keep asking.

If i wanted a personality input i would have asked thank you.

When you see the pics you realise what a big smash it was and how lucky Claude was to walk away, testament to the BMW's build quality and safety features.

The cost will be so high, due to the air pump, that is a big old boy.

The advert and info will all be out soon, looks very good but the high price will be a factor.

But that air pump will probably out live most of us on here, lol.

does the air pump come with it then ? most of the time they dont on things like this.

great simple idea though

£450 isnt to bad when you consider what you get when comparing to a grotech one.

those airpumps are the best bit of £150 from memory.

Hi Lost Boy

Its a pitty that you will not wait till we can make our official
product review. :-(

The Fauna Marin Zeomatic incl. following things

A complete Ultralithfilter with plunge in Acrylic
and it can be run also under pressure.
It is for internal or external use

The Zeomatic included

Ultralith Start Set , complete with 2 Liter Ultralith and the complete Basic System.

Ultralith Filter Zeomatic with aquabee 2000 pump and
Flowcontrol with underwater outlet

A special air valve and silicone hose

A strong quality pressure Air Pump with flow control

A time clock to control the cleaning times

We give the system to the european patent office

The plunge is still in the filter and it is also workalble under pressure.
Every 7 - 14 days you shake several times with the plunge then in can run again for 7 - 14 days
The airbubbles take the bacteria film from the rocks and cleaned them very
fast.
The Airpump on the Video is a smaller one that we use in the market version
but it works also good enough

Greets Claude

The official product review will come soon

Can the unit be left completely immersed in the sump, as I have a 1 meter tall sump? I notice that you use an air pump which seems pretty large and presumably quite expensive. Would it not be cheaper to draw the air in by venturi using say an Eheim?

Not sure but as yet no one has seen one for sale in the UK o they may not be available as yet, the air pump will have to sit out of the water of course.

I can't see why the whole reactor couldn't be completely underwater...if you ever find that it doesn't work, you can always just raise it using a platform. I've never tried submerging the whole unit.

The venturi on an ehiem would not push enough air or have enough pressure

They are available from certain retailers ;), they are shipped without an air pump to reduce costs to the buyer, who can then spec his/her own air pump.

Cheers Jobr, i thought the air pump the was specified was the big thing to have with these as its a monster and i have not seen one like it in my LFS but cheers for that, want to see one in action to gauge the performance and what others think.

Anyone got one of these running on there system yet?

:)

KeithM
05-07-08, 15:22
Yes, I had one running on my system but its now packed away in my garage. The video of the reactor posted up a while ago on here was taken by me whilst it was in action. There is also a video on Korallenriff taken from interzoo where Robert interviews Claude which shows the larger version working.

The version I had used a japanese 20 l/m airpump

Lost Boys
06-07-08, 11:47
Keith, do you know the reasons behind why its not be shipped with the original spec'd air pump, if its been designed around one type of pump surely it would be worth getting that air pump, i know they are expensive but any less and you may not be getting the best out of the unit.

KeithM
06-07-08, 23:05
I do not speak for Claude...but he chose to use the highest quality air pumps at 20 l/m (or 40l/m) - these retail at around 100+ pounds each. Some people may prefer to supply their own air pumps which they may source at a lower price/quality.

The pump output is what is important to the system...
