OK we have a forums for nano tanks and a forum for the rest of the sizes of tanks but should we have another forum for midi tanks eg the likes of cubes? I have a AM Chromis which dosent fit easy into either of the 2 forums Nano and larger tanks.
The Chromis is nearly a 2' cube and over 30gallons. Just a thought but perhaps a forum for tanks larger than a nano and say up to a 3' tank would be a good idea. What do you think all you midi tank owners and fans? I don't know how to start a poll on here or I would have.:o :thanks:

where does it end?
next people with 4 to 5 ft tanks will be asking for a maxi tank forum
then the 6ft plus owners will want a maxi-plus forum...

nano is simple, a small tank, lets not complicate things

Well I guess you would say that now you have a 6' plus tank. as for where does it end? simple question simple answer. Anywhere the members and admin on here wish to if that OK with you? :p Thanks for your thoughts anyway.

Have a look at the relevant threads from this search
It's been asked many times before, and answered very succinctly

Its a difficult one but i think it would fragment the forum too much to be honest.I would class the chromis as a standard reef tank to be.Standard tank tech can be used rather than trying to maximise the space that you would with a nano.
Think back 20 or so years, the chromis would have been considered a medium/large reef tank compared to the 3 by 12 by 15's most reefers had.

A Marine pond would be amazing! Although doubt you'd be able to see alot unless you had see through sides??.......

There are some photos i've seen on RC of ponds.
One really was just a large moat around his house outside, open to the elements.
The other was, i think, in spain, and was more like a small pond.

how about a biotope tank section..?

might be interesting from an advanced point of veiw, and would help newbies in realising what sort or conditions suite differing groups of organisms rather than the usual chuck it all in and hope for the best approach..
