I brought two nanostreams 6055 with a controller from you last year and are looking at buying another one this week.

I have been reading that people are having problems with the clamp/bracket degrading in saltwater and snapping them when removing them to clean.

I believe that Tunze UK is now replacing them free of charge, if you return the broken brackets.

My problem is that I need to clean my pumps soon and I do want to be without my nanostreams for a week or more waiting for the replacements to arrive as I have a cube tank and nowhere to support them if the brackets do break.

My only solution is two buy replacement clamp/brackets

Could you please confirm that the replacement clamp/bracket and nanostreams 6055 that you are selling are now made from a different plastic?

Thanks

Simon

They don't need the old one's, at least the UK main agent didn't ask me for them

I was informed by aquatic store that I need to return them to get replacement ones.

But I forgot to ask them if the replacement clamp/bracket they selling are now made from a different plastic?

I simply took pictures of the THREE broken C Holders and sent that with a email to the main distributor .

The UK distributor stated new plastics are now being used.

I do have to complain here as I was unaware of the recall/free replacement that Tunze is doing and contacted a said vendor on here who was more than glad to take my money (4.99ea) for two of them, without a single mention of known fault and free replacement.
