i was under the impression gem tangs dont do too well in a group in a tank environment?

I know Tigger used to claim his 3 were fine, makes you wonder why he was so quick to get rid of again though

not this week, going to move my current stock over during the week and weekend leave it a week or 2 before I add any major items. I did pop in on thursday thinking of getting some of those convicts :) also will need 6 yellow tangs in a couple of weeks, do you think It will be ok to add them first?? Never had a problem with my current yellow tang with new additions.. sorry for hijaking this thread - as for the gem tang if you can get one and hold onto it for week just to make sure my water paramaters are all ok -if you dont want to stock it I fully understand :)

the three gems that were tiggsy's that went oop north then ended up in a tank in ipswich, all were fine together, they were also in with, blacks' tri's and yellows and numerous other fish, every time i saw the tank all were fine with one'n'other:)

tiggsy did have issues when they were kept in a small tank in holding for his big system they were aggressive throught the egg crate and he was worried about them hurting themselves, they were fine with more space meant to be more placid than other zeb species by all accounts :thumbsup:

Hi All
Just seen the gem tangs at CCT and WOW, Wow wow!
They are tiny but perfectly formed, and all feeding!!!!!
Shame they are all provisionally sold but the people who have reserved them are very lucky!
If you have time then pop in to see them before they go to their new homes!
