Here's one that i have not come across, do you skim with a fuge...?

I can't see why you'd not skim with a refugium. They perform totally different functions.

i got the ecosystem method going...got a mce 600 but not skimming,,,just an additonal powerhead now.....but if things were 2 go bad....then vrooom!!!!mce600 wud b takin gunk....so far no need

I always skim as much as possible, the chaeto seems to still grow at a silly fast rate!

i use the miracle mud method and only skim for 6hrs a day. Never had a problem with this skimming
