Isn't this just the juvenile state of the Guinea Fowl puffer, with the Yellow coming likely from tonga?

The puffers change at different sizes, same as many angels do.

The Golden (as it is often called) isn't suppose to change from juvenile to adult colours from what I have read. However I have a Golden and it is changing slowly towards the colour of my Guinea Fowl.

Though me and Matt did pull out the pocket book encyclopedia and within it , it calls the Guinea Fowl by both names, but shows it in its adult colours only.

I told Matt I would send some pics of mine when I got him as to what he looks like now several months on. I have the Guinea Fowl as well so with luck I'll be able to get a shot of them swimming side by side and you'll be able to see why I'm fairly convinced that the Golden & Guinea are the same fish.

His Golden is larger than mine now... think My golden is right around 6 inches and no where near as fat, but my feeding schedule is fairly tight for my puffers as they are only fed every 3 days with a few tid-bits in between and what they collect when I feed the tangs & other fish in their tank.

The Guinea I have is about 8 inches... then I have a white spot which is some where in the area of 13 inches.

cheers,
Joe
