How do you find the growth rate affected over a 10k bulb?

running a 14k Coralvue.. About to buy/switch to a BLV 14k, the white seems crisper from the tanks i've compared mine to.

anyone know of a good cheap supplier aside from the obvious sponsor? Cheapest i've found so far is £32.80 inc p&p..

250w/20k radium - but over a coral (zoas/rics) tank so the extra blue looks good.

Its hard to compare my 12k 400w to a 10k 250w/400w - But i'm more than happy with the growth ive seen already with the 12k 400w - Look nice aswell.

Use Giesemann 14.5k's but to my eyes BLV 10k's look the best.

1 x 250w MarineLux 14K. According to Marine Lighting it is supposed to have a PAR rating nearer to that of a 10K.

It gives off a pleasing light, but I have yet to see any significant sps coral growth. Just wondering what other peeps experiences are with this product.

150w 20k that came with the MH lamp....I find it slightly 'lilac'. When I switch on an actinic 18w bulb, I prefer the look of the light then......weird.
