Hi Guys...yesterday for the first time in ages I found myself in Cambridge and more to the point the cinema just up the road from your shop. So I thought I would just pop along and have a quick looksee for the first time and what do I see but the dreaded CLOSED sign on the door :(:(.
Oh well hopefully will get a chance to pop by again soon.

Yeah I saw the sign on the door....just thought it was typical!!
Oh well will just have to make more of an effort in future and not try and sneak it teh easy way lol
Shame, but its well worth popping down from St Neots, it's a great shop.

Now in kedington just the other side of haverhill, for at least the next 6-8 months due to loss in family :(.

sorry to have missed you to, we have a few other customers from keddington, only 10 mins up the road
Where do you keep your private Jet Steve :confused: - 10 mins from Kedington, 30-40 at least mate. Takes me 30 mins and I'm 5 miles nearer!!

Hammer opened within minutes of going in and looks perfect just what I have been looking for :thanks:
With so many reefers in haverhill and surrounding area we should have a haverhill reef meet.....how about the easter weekend round mine in kedington??
Only snag will be that there wont be much to look at as I will hopefully be stripping down my 6ft that weekend and moving it into the kitchen and then setting up the 8ft in the lounge...but any help is greatly appreciated ;);)

After your help this weekend with trying to catch my koran, I'd be more than happy to give you a hand over Easter.
Also, even if you were joking, sounds a good idea to me re setting up a reefers meet once in a while for everyone in our surrounding area. I'd definitely be up for hosting.

Probably can't do Easter weekend - wife has DIY plans for me! :eek:

Carl, surely you dont need that 6ft tank ? :)
I do for a few months mate yeah just while the 8ft is maturing and getting ready for the switch over.....after that....who knows ;) may even set it up as a tropical tank.
If you are intersted I will keep you in mind when all is well with the other.
Besides its not even in the kitchen yet still got a month of planning to sort out first lol.

Firstly, welcome to UR. They're a very friendly and helpful bunch on here and anything you need to ask someone is bound to have an answer.
Secondly, this thread kind of died off - I may well send round a few pm's to see if anyone in the local area wants to get together at some point. Might have more luck this time!

hi laura, trying to start anything like that is hard,i use to be in a koi club at colchester,less said about that the better.anyway, nice to meet you. reading a lot on UR it seems most people are more into hard corals,me on the other hand,iam into softies.been running my 4' tank for nearly 18mths

I'm into softies too as like my fish too much to risk any other corals and then pecking at them!
