This document on the FM T5 lamps and Ultra Solaris has been around for a while but a number of people have asked me to make it available here as it gives a good impartial insight in to how well these tubes work and the difference they can make to coral growth and colour.

Just to reiterate these are great tubes and units, used one with six tubes for nearly a year now.
The Osram ballasts really make the most of the T5's.

Thats a great study, about as good as you'll get I think in the real world!
